About Sheesh Mahal (Amber Fort)
The Sheesh Mahal, or Mirror Palace, is the most celebrated chamber inside Amber Fort, famed for its mirrored ceiling and walls inlaid with intricate glasswork and precious stones. A single candle was said to light the entire chamber through the reflective mosaic. It is a prime example of Rajput artistry and is included in the Amber Fort entry ticket.
