About Jaigarh Fort
Jaigarh Fort, the 'Victory Fort', was built in 1726 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II on the ridge above Amber Fort. It is famous for housing 'Jaivana', the world's largest cannon on wheels, cast in 1720. The fort's armory and underground water storage are notable attractions, and it was built by the same architects as Amber.
