About Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame)

Kirti Stambh, or the Tower of Fame, is a smaller 22-metre tower near the Vijay Stambh, built by a wealthy Jain merchant in the 12th century. It is dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain Tirthankara, and is adorned with figures of Jain deities and a range of sculptural decoration. The tower stands on a high base and is separate in style from the older Vijay Stambh.
