Pushkar Kartik Purnima Snan

On the full moon of Kartik, Pushkar Lake becomes the setting for one of Hinduism's most sacred holy dips, drawing large numbers of pilgrims who believe the bath washes away sins. The ghats are lined with devotees through the night, with pujas, deep-daan (floating lamps) and Brahmins performing rituals.
