Tal Chhapar Blackbuck and Harrier Viewing Season

This small grassland sanctuary in Churu district protects one of Rajasthan's key blackbuck populations, with herds of over 3,000 animals roaming the open plains. In winter thousands of migratory birds, including demoiselle cranes that start arriving in October, gather here. The season is especially rewarding for raptor watchers, as harriers and other birds of prey arrive to hunt over the golden grasslands.
