Keoladeo Winter Bird-Watching Season

Every winter the park's wetlands host tens of thousands of migratory birds arriving via the Central Asian Flyway from Siberia, Tibet, Afghanistan and Central Asia. Over 350 bird species have been recorded, with peak congregations of 50,000 to 80,000 birds between October and February. Rarer migrants such as the Siberian crane, along with painted storks, bar-headed geese and pelicans, make this the prime bird-watching season.
