About Khuri (Desert Festival)
Khuri is a small traditional village in the Thar Desert south of Jaisalmer, known for its quiet dunes and authentic rural desert life. It hosts the annual Jaisalmer Desert Festival, a colorful multi-day fair usually held in February featuring folk music, dancing, camel races and turban-tying contests.
