The Birla Temple in Jaipur is a stunning modern Hindu temple made entirely of white marble. Located at the base of Moti Dungri Hill, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan) and Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Built by the industrialist Birla family in 1988, it has since become one of the most prominent religious landmarks in Jaipur.
White Marble Wonder: The temple is built in pure white marble with sleek domes, intricate carvings, and glowing elegance, especially under moonlight.
Three Domes: Symbolize three major religions in India—Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity—signifying secularism.
Stained Glass Windows: Depict scenes from Hindu scriptures, including the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
Marble Idols: The central sanctum features beautifully sculpted idols of Lakshmi and Narayan.
