Talab-e-Shahi is a historic lake located approximately 27 km from Dholpur and about 5 km from Bari in Rajasthan. Constructed in 1617 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it served as a hunting lodge and pleasure retreat. The adjacent Khanpur Mahal, a 17th-century palace, was built as a pleasure residence but never served its intended purpose. Today, the palace functions as the headquarters of the Bari area RAC (police).
