Chand Baori is one of the oldest, deepest, and most visually stunning stepwells in India, located in the village of Abhaneri in the Dausa district of Rajasthan. It is a marvel of ancient architecture and engineering, built over a thousand years ago, and continues to amaze visitors with its precise symmetry and scale.

The lower levels remain 5–6°C cooler, offering natural air conditioning in the desert climate.
The stepwell also features pillared corridors, balconies, and beautifully carved jharokhas (windows).

The temple was partially destroyed by invaders, but its remaining sculptures and carvings are still worth admiring.
