Chhinch (also spelled Cheench) is a culturally rich village located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Banswara city in Rajasthan’s Bagidora Tehsil.  Brahma Temple – A 12th-Century Marvel

The centerpiece of Chhinch is the Brahma Temple, dating back to the 12th century. Constructed from stone, the temple showcases intricate carvings and houses a black stone idol of Lord Brahma, approximately the height of an average man. Legend has it that during an invasion, a golden idol of Brahma vanished into the earth to protect itself, leading to the creation of the nearby Brahma Sarovar, a sacred pond where devotees now bathe for spiritual cleansing.
